These crashing waves are
viewed at Cape Kiwanda, on the
Oregon coast. Cape Kiwanda is
the smallest of three capes along
the Three Capes Scenic Route
(along with Cape Meares and
Cape Lookout), but it’s one of
the best places to experience
spectacular wave action. Ocean
waves are a transfer of energy
moving across the ocean’s sur-
face, and eventually to land.
